Leading the July 4th FUN

Were you there? Did you see the Hawks’ Garden representing, right at the very front of this year’s July 4th Parade with their fabulous, pollinator, butterfly-crazy float?

Our inspirational 2nd grade teacher and garden leader, Ms Swisher, was invited to be the Grand Master of Ceremonies and lead the parade! Ms Swisher was chosen for all the work she and the team have achieved around ecological gardening.

Neil Cummins Girl Scout troops helped decorate the truck using gigantic butterfly art made by the Kindergarten class.

Thank you to Amy, art teacher Ms Mathews and all the parents, helpers and kindergarten artists!
