welcome

to
our happy place

Our mission is to offer a welcoming location on campus for children to learn about the natural world. We want the students to safely explore the biological wonders of a garden.

We encourage children and families to get outside and into their gardens, with a focus on promoting the health of pollinators and beneficial insects.

The garden is run and maintained by the PTO, parent volunteers, students and is led by our inspirational 2nd grade teacher, Ms. Swisher!

We grow everything from broccoli, cabbage, kale, tomatoes, potatoes, brussel sprouts, beans, peas, mandarin oranges, lemons, pomegranates, apples, sunflowers, zinnias, wildflowers, and native plants of California that support a sustainable garden.

“Having a community garden on our campus has taught my kids invaluable lessons about food and ecology.”
