The Birds are bathing

High on the list of a habitat garden checklist, apart from food and shelter, is access to clean water.
By introducing the bird bath, we have made sure that our feathered friends have a reliable source of hydration year-round. (It also replaces the temporary cute mini bird bath that needed lots of attention and cleaning).

We couldn’t have done this without the generous dedication and effort of Dave Washer, a local art and garden designer, in collaboration with Ms Swisher, to bring this project to life.

Also important to us is creating a sustainable garden.

With the installation of a eco-friendly solar panel to keep fresh running water flowing, we are able to create our own electricity to give the birds fresh water to drink.
