What to Plant: May
Spring is a great time to get out in the garden. Here’s what you can do in May.
Plant pretty annual flowers: especially Zinnias, Cosmos, Salvias, that are the most beneficial to pollinators - that we love, and need, in our gardens!
Did you know?… Marigolds are good natural pest deterrents when planted in and around vegetable plants like tomatoes.
Re-seed radishes, carrots, and beets.
Plant late summer edibles like Pumpkins, Squash, Sunflowers, Peppers, Basil, and Melons. It’s also time to plant Brussel Sprouts for fall harvest!
Have fun picking your favorites.
