Garden gets shed upgrade and a more accessible path

This weekend’s Work Day brought two great changes to our beloved garden.

First NC dad, Mike Strasser, successfully rodent-proofed the garden shed, so there’ll be absolutely no more sneaky critters causing havoc inside.

And did you know our garden is ADA-accessible? The garden has been truly blooming over the summer and is full with fruits, vegetables, herbs and flowers. So we trimmed back overgrown summer plants to ensure that everyone in our community can enjoy the beauty and serenity of the space.

A massive thank you to Mike, Angela, Miles, Bryant, Helen and Ms Swisher, who rolled up their sleeves this weekend—it was a glorious time spent together, making the garden shine.

More photos, MANY appearances from multiple Monarch butterflies, and we took a look inside one of the bird boxes and removed last season’s nest bedding.
