Student Powered Garden Work Days

The Garden Team hosted two Spring Student Work Days over Spring Break to prepare the garden for students to return. We removed all fennel, grass and clover that was taking over the garden beds.

We cleaned out the garden shed, installed a new lock, took a full load of unwanted items from the shed to the dump, we weeded, cleaned, raked and removed all unneeded items. We transplanted strawberries into new pots, the students planted seeds all throughout the garden and everyone helped with the much needed watering due to the dry spell. The garden is now fully ready for the classes to come visit now that school is returning to full days!
